Hope your valintine day is spent well.

My Uncle Loydd Trennepohl had five bypass heart surgery yesterday. He is recovering as well as can be expected considering.  The doctor said he has had a heart attack about a month ago and had heart failure Sunday night while in Christ hospital.  He currently has 35% heart function with the prospect of only 45% recovery.  Prease, pray for his recovery and also for his family.  Loydd lost  his wife to cancer many years ago and is living alone.  It will be up to his children to care for him.

Praise the Lord my two children had safe travel this past weekend, as they both were traveling.  Please pray for an unspoken reqest I have.

Sincere thanks, Bob T  ..............  Xanga out

About time for an update,  soooooooooo;   Just got back from Gattlinburg.  Had 3 days of September weather in Feburary. Nice!  Above is a picture taken in my back yard.  The point is,  I saw more wildlife in Fairfield than Sue and I saw driving Cades Cove in the mountains of Tennessee.  We stayed in a nice new cabin in the mountains near Dollywood and there is construction everywhere. would like to show pictures however we brought everything from our house but the digital camera!  Took 35mm pictures so if I purchase a scanner someday I can put picture up :).

All that said, I was able to get some reading and reflection in this week.  Many thoughts passed through my old crusty brain, but this one stuck.= Mattew 13:12  I 've read the Prables of Matt. 13 many times and pondered the picture of the Kingdom of God(Heaven) that is painted by my Lord in great wonder.  It occurred to me that in verse 12 where Jesus reveals the secrets of the kingdom, He proclaims that "Whoever has will be given more", and "whoever does not have , even what he has will be taken from him". This statement never sunk in before. That believers and unbelievers are never "static" in their spiritual state.  It is a very serious warning to believers and unbelievers. Believers should be growing constantly closer to the knowledge and likeness of their Savior Jesus the Christ (progressive santification). And a true believer will never be satisfied in their spiritual state; for stagnation will lead to regression.  This does not mean a believer can loose a Salvation that can only come from God, but may indicate  a lack of "root" that grows only in the good soil of a regenerate heart.  The lot of an unbeliever is also not stagnant but continues in the path of evil and unbelief until the unregenerate heart become so hardened in unbelief that the word of God will be choked and its meaning hidden!  What a solemn and serious warning from our Lord to those who willfully reject His word and warning to those, so called, churches who deny the authority and power in the inspired, God breathed, perfect Word. The good news is that, with God, all things are possible!    Need to stop now. I think I've gone from musing to preaching:).

Yesterday was a sad day.  Our 15 year old puppy died.  Sandy was our 3rd child who never grew up.  She was a good friend and loyal as God made dogs to be.  We will miss her.
